The iPhone 8 which have sold between 2017 and 2018 contained logic boards with the manufacturing defect. The fault like screen freezing, unexpected restarting, incorrect boot up initiations etc… were faced by the iPhone users. Apple has quietly announced free repairing service for the defected phones and it covers affected devices for 3years after the first sale of the unit.

Apple said that one who looking for the service can check whether the device is suitable for service or not. If the device is applied for the service the Apple verifies that at the initial and then the device will move to the service. Then the company declared that, the issues are not in the other models like iPhone-x and iPhone 8 plus.

It is also announced that the defects like screen crack should be resolved before getting into the service. In some cases, there may be charge for the extra service. Another condition is that, this announcement will not extend the standard warrant of the iPhone 8.
